Noise

A noise impact assessment is being carried out to ensure that any noise emitted by the inverter stations conforms with Aberdeenshire Council, Scottish Government and British Technical standards. A thorough and conservative assessment will be undertaken on the potential effects to the amenity of nearby residential properties. It is predicted that noise levels are unlikely to exceed UK standards and Council limits at residential properties.

Features have been included in the design of the Proposed Development to reduce the impact of operational noise, including acoustic fencing. This is designed to absorb the sound from within the development.
